What this site collects
You can read every page and use the calculator without giving us anything. We only collect information you type into a form:
- Guide sign-ups: your first name and email.
- Calculator downloads and emails: your first name and email, plus the numbers, property address and notes you entered, so we can send what you asked for.
- Deal unlocks: your name, email and phone number, and a one-time code to confirm your email.
We use this to send what you requested and to follow up about house-hacking education and The Peterson Team's services. Form entries are stored with our website host (Netlify) and our customer relationship software, and emails are sent through our email provider. We never sell your information. You can unsubscribe from any email or ask us to delete your information at the contact below.
The calculator's numbers stay in your browser and in the link you copy, unless you choose to download or email them. Anything you type in the address or notes fields is included in that link, so leave out anything private.
Cookies and ads
This site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies to measure visits and the performance of our ads on Meta platforms. Meta's use of that data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. You can control ad personalization in your Meta account settings and block cookies in your browser.
Class registration
When you register for a class, you do it on our class registration pages, which have their own privacy policy and SMS terms shown at sign-up.
